I am such a huge fan of pancakes. If I had to choose between waffles or pancakes, it would be pancakes every time. I love it when my family would have breakfast for dinner because again, it would involve pancakes. IHOP, my favorite. I always get chocolate chip pancakes. Yes, I am 7. But I decided to try and find the best pancake receipt and boy do I have it. If you want to have light, airy, cake-like pancakes then use this recipe below!!

Here is what you will need:

1 1/4 Cups of All-Purpose Flour

1/4 Cup of White Sugar

1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

1 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder

1 Dash of Salt

1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1 Egg

1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil

1 1/4 Cups of Buttermilk

1 Tablespoon of Butter
Just throw that all into your mixer or in a bowl and whisk away!

Make sure you get all of the clumps of flour, so then you don’t have pockets of flour when you take a bite of the pancakes later.

Once your batter is all mixed together, then pour it into a non-stick pan and pour some of batter into it. I did about a 1/3 Cup of batter for the pancakes and that made them a perfect size for me. I made two lager pancakes for my boyfriend so I had about 6 pancakes in total with this batter. But if I made them all the same size, it probably would have made about 9-10 pancakes.

Once your pancakes start to make this little bubbles, thats when you know they are probably golden brown on the bottom and need to be flipped over! And wait a couple more minutes for the other side and boom, amazing pancakes!

I hope you all enjoy this recipe! And if you are a waffle person, I am sorry, but you aren’t welcomed here…..just kidding..
Love you all! Have a great week!!
