I start school tomorrow and I am losing my mind. I know that I have had 4 months of a break but man, it went by fast. I am going into my third year of college and that blows my mind that I am already halfway done in my degree. It has been hard, but so worth it. If some of you don’t know, I am going to WSU and I am getting a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. To me, psychology is one of the coolest topics ever. And I am so grateful that I was able to start taking psychology classes my first year of college.
*tip for people in high school, take AP classes or do running start*
One of my biggest regrets in life is the fact I never did running start in high school. If I had done running start, I would have graduated last year. It is a really hard thing to do, you have to study and work for it. But it is so worth it. You get all your pre-requisites done and out of the way. It might take some time away from your friends, might make you not able to do sports. But again, it’s worth it. I wish ever so much to go back and do running start, so you high schoolers, don’t make the same mistake please!
I am actually kind of excited to go back to school just because I am taking some pretty awesome classes this year. I am taking Clinical/Community Psychology and Statistical Psychology this semester. And then Biopsychological Effects of Alcohol and Drugs and Psychological Testing and Measurement. I know those might sound boring to some, but this is getting me started in my journey in being an Educational Counselor one day.
So here’s to another year of college and after this, only one more to go!
Good luck to you all that will be going to school this week or next, kick butt and have a great year! Love you all!
